We watched the DVD today, and I don't think either of said a word during the play...we were so engrossed.

It is marvelous piece of history, showing the philosophical history of great and good man. The US has had only a few great presidents and RR was certainly one of them. He was unique in that he was a man of principle, but he also had the power to implement those principles.

It has been my experience in life that usually those with the right answers lack the power to implement them, and those who have the power usually have few if any worthwhile answers.

A man of principle who did not wet his finger and hold it up the test the political wind. The story showed that the Left can be depended on to be on the wrong side of any question of politics, morality.

I don't think most Americans really understood what RR did for them, and I fear that those who write history books will be unfair and biased in general.

This is an excellent production in every way.

Jack Reagan

Congratulations on a superb documentary film; well done! Both my husband and I were very impressed by the professional level, the historical accuracy, and the philosophical integrity of the production.

My comments must be qualified by that fact that I am a professional historian with 36 years of high school and college teaching experience in the historical field which I have studied for more than half a decade, as well as having lived through most of what was depicted.

You matched the power of the image, myths, and propaganda, with the great power of TRUTH, powerfully and clearly presented. The historical introduction was excellent as well as use of the archival historical material subsequently presented to illustrate clearly the point under consideration or the situation being described.

The film clearly showed Ronald Reagan for the man of character that he was; principled, consistent and tenacious statesman rather than a politician. I have never seen a more thorough cinematic depiction of a statesman.

The web site for IN THE FACE OF EVIL is exceedingly impressive and I have sent it on to numerous friends and relatives internationally.

Again, a job well done, and many, many thanks.

Sincerely,

Barbara Reagan

I watch the movie once a week and I am so much stunned. At one point they show the Georgian church as a token of religious freedom that was bestowed to the captive nations within the Evil Empire.

Do you know that President Reagan is truly a Great Liberator as well? When I was imprisoned by the KGB for writing to American citizens, my name was on the list that he presented to Gorbachev and later my name was also listed among those who were permitted to visit friends in the USA.

Thanks again and best wishes,

The movie was absolutely awesome!!! Well, done. I try to get my hands on every documentary on Reagan that I can and was so surprised at how different this documentary was. I show this video to all who will watch. It was excellent.

This movie was one of the best I've seen in a long time - and certainly the best documentary I've seen in years! POWERFUL!!!!! Inspiring! Sentimental.

And an amazingly chilling connection exists between Reagan and Bush and the fight they are waging on evil. Also - the female narrator was superb.

Loved the movie. Wish I could make everyone watch it.

Hello,

I purchased In the Face of Evil a few months ago and I have watched it at least four times. Each viewing inspires me as much as the first time. The historical background, the succinct and staccato narration, the relevant musical score and the explanation of Reagan's tactical plan to dismantle the Soviet Union are just awesome. The footage of Reagan's eloquent speeches from the 1960s and 1970s are essential to conveying that he had been writing and thinking about his ideas for a long time. The redundant themes about the beast's goal "Control of the state and power as an end unto itself." and "The beast had always hated the same things: religion, a free press, intellectual inquiry and artistic expression. Anything that elevated or empowered the individual." These themes are terse, poignant and blatantly candid. This is an "in your face" type of movie - probably not for everyone, but I love it.

This movie will inspire me during the remainder of my life. I urge you to create subsequent movies of this caliber. I will write a very positive review on Amazon.com and urge my friends and family to buy it.

Thanks,

-Steve Coscia

We loved In the Face of Evil.
It fully lived up to our expectations and then some.

Bill & Gayle Horie

It was AWESOME. I loved it. I have now taken to describing the (up until now unexplainable) need of some people and groups to try and control our lives ... "The Beast." "The Beast" is radical liberalism, Communism, fascism, and all of the like. The "we know better than you" syndrome.

I always thought that "The Beast" could be eliminated. I thought that eventually it would be eliminated. After watching that film and seeing how "The Beast" adapts, I have had a bit of a paradigm shift. I now believe that "The Beast" can be knocked down, it can be knocked out, but it can never be killed. The object should be to knock "The Beast" down and keep it down.

In word and then in deed ... President Reagan fought "The Beast." He fought to knock it down. He fought to keep it down. His fight made the world a safer place. President Reagan's so weakend the "The Beast" (and at a time when it was so powerful) that it took years for it to get back up. What a great man. What a great life. What a great legacy. What a great film.

Thank you!

Brent Parrott

One of the best documentaries I have ever seen. Inspiring, truly inspiring...

Its a great flick - I wish it was on tv so more could see it. It chronicles the evil up to the modern times and showing how Reagan through just common sense fought communism by not appeasing it. His dream of watching the Berlin Wall Fall WERE realized when everyone else thought he was crazy. A man so far ahead of his time. Several of his speeches were included - which as great - one speech he did in the '60's talked about the how the Social Security system was eventually going to go broke and suggested that it should be privatized. Sound familiar? I watch the speeches over and over. This is my favorite DVD of all the ones I have.

In the Face of Evil was a wonderful film!-it was not only educational but it was first-rate, exceptional quality. I have recommended the film to family and friends and would enthusiastically support seeing more films like this in the future!

Thank you for your efforts in education America to the truth!

Hello,

I watched the film In the Face of Evil after having bought the movie from your website. I was already a big Ronald Reagan fan before this film came out, so when I found that there was going to be no theatre playing the film near me, I waited until your website offered the film on DVD. The entire time I waited, I imagined what the movie would be like watching it. Not even in my grandest of imaginations that I conceived did I have something so well done as this film. The depth of the stakes at hand, the gripping, iron-like will of Ronald Reagan, and the constant showing of how close we were to unfathomable defeat is portrayed magnificently throughout the entire film. The music chosen was of superb choice, too, might I add.

Most documentaries make people want to fall asleep. Michael Moore's documentary made people laugh. In the Face of Evil, though, grabs hold of your attention like an alligator grabs hold of its prey, and doesn't let you go until well after the film is done playing. In the Face of Evil causes you to stop and reflect on things, not just for a minute, but for the ages. It is a performance made on par excellence, and it is an intellectual cinematic masterpiece that clearly shows how deeply in debt we are to President Reagan. It shows that Reagan, unlike any other President of the Cold War, was truly an outsider, one who did not stray from his set course until the job was done, no matter how humiliating, debased, poked fun of, or maligned he was during that course. This film clearly shows that when it comes to evil, there is no difference between the Communists in the Kremlin, or the Nazis in Berlin, or the Islamo-Fascists throughout the Middle East. In the end, all have but one ultimate goal- to crush those that are good, forever...

And also, the film show that, no matter how many people evil has on its side, it only takes one man with a straight heart and strong enough will to defeat it.

Thank you for your film, as it is one that should be seen by all those who wish to understand why we fight now, why we fought then, and why there are those who wish to defeat this new evil in the form of terror.

Sincerely, Colin Bennett
High School Student

Well I’d just like to say thank you for making that movie. Although I am only 17 I learned a great deal from watching it, and I went to see it the day it came out in Houston. The only things I would say about it is that its looooong. But I wouldnt want you to shorten it any because it is perfect the way it is, and cutting anything out means someone would miss something I didnt.

Evil is powerless if the good are unafraid - Ronald Reagan

- James

I have shown it to one of my classes, and I would absolutely love to see more work like it.

I learned much about Reagan, and even more about the cold war, and how appeasement always fails. Most importantly I realized that the terrorist enemy now is not different mentally than the Nazis or the Communist. And we cannot appease them like we did HIlter or the Soviets.

James Williamson

I feel it's a shame I had to buy a copy of this movie as opposed to seeing it in a theater. I don't believe there was even one theater in the Chicago area where I reside that showed "In the Face of Evil". This being in my opinion a rather tragic statement about our society in general when a film like Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11" played to overflow crowds and a brilliant documentary like "In the Face Of Evil" went virtually unnoticed. Ronald Reagan will go down in history as one of the truly great and most influential leaders of the twentieth century. This documentary very clearly points out the harsh realities of the Cold War and how Reagan more than virtually any other person so brilliantly helped bring an end to this sad chapter in world history. Where as Moore's "F 9/11" has been proven to be full of patetic innuendo and miscarriages of truth to fit his own political agenda, "In The Face Of Evil" will someday receive the attention it so rightfully deserves as a well researched and valuable guide illustrating what a truly magnificent leader this nation had with Ronald Regan as president. I strongly recommend this film to everyone regardless of their political point of view. I further believe this film makes for an excellent educational tool teachers can show their students as an honest and accurate portrayal of the "Cold War".

Sincerely,

John Brinkmann

Brilliant documentary! I bought two copies and am spreading the word. Thanks!

The film more than lived up to my expectations after reading the book. My only regret is that the theater debut received so little publicity where I live (in Northern Virginia near Washington, DC). I took nearly 50 people to it with me and we were virtually the only ones in the theater. This movie should be required viewing for any student of modern American history. I recommend you advertise it at all homeschooling conferences, like the one I am attending this weekend in Winston-Salem, NC with my daughter who honeschools all her six children.

Gary Kanady

I am a big fan of Reagan and this film just solidified my position on him being the greatest President of the 20th century and in the top 3 all time (Washington, Lincoln/Reagan). I am telling everyone I know about this film and encourage them to buy it. Thanks for making this film and please keep them coming!

Kelly Bolen

This was a great and inspiring movie. It was very well produced and portrayed President Reagan for the person he really was: a man of conviction

Name Withheld

I learned more about Reagan, his administration, and strategy to win the "Cold War" from watching "In the face of evil". My admiration grew to a higher level of appreciation and respect for him. He was already the best President i had known in my lifetime (i was born in 57') but after watching the film i realized he was one of those rare leaders who comes along and has a cataclysmic impact on history.

Thank you for making the movie. I hope that you can afford to distribute a "wide release" of the movie at some point in the future.

Sincerely:

Ken

Last week, Betty and I had the good fortune to be invited to the Washington, DC Premiere of the IN THE FACE OF EVIL movie. Directed by Stephen K. Bannon, it's a documentary based on the book "Reagan's War" written by Peter Schweitzer. Important to us, the movie describes the history of our times and how our country prevailed in the twentieth century.
Of course, as indicated above it smacks strongly of how one man, namely Ronald Reagan faced up to the communist threat from the time he became President of the Screen Actors Guild through his terms as President of the United States.

Reinforced by KGB documents, the story is told how the Kremlin had respect for Reagan's absence of fear while disdaining weakness, accommodation and deal making. The movie tells how resolve of purpose, a determined strategy, standing up to threats, selfless dedication to freedom before self glory, and a belief in the Deity are some of the factors leading to victory. No doubt the man had flaws, but this is the story of how the cold war was won and the part that was played by one of the principal architects of the victory.
Regardless of political persuasion, I think you'll enjoy seeing the story unfold through many of the speeches of one of the great communicators in our time. Take some time out and go see it - it's powerful.

"For many Christians, Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ" moved them like no other movie ever made. I've got to tell you that, as an American, this movie had that same effect on me. It is truth. And truth is powerful."

 Dear Friend,

Please accept this email as a challenge from me to you. Our Nation is facing a difficult time and we must have decisive and courageous leaders in challenging times. Ronald Reagan is a perfect example.

“In the Face of Evil” is a must see documentary on Ronald Reagan’s leadership and how he conquered communism. Reagan’s Presidency is a good blueprint on how America must deal with terrorism in the 21st Century.

Revival Soy and The Conservative Voice are proud to sponsor four viewings of this powerful film in Winston-Salem, NC.

My challenge to you is to do the same thing in your city. Contact reaganscreening@yahoo.com to learn how you can become a sponsor.

“IN THE FACE OF EVIL is brilliant. It is also thoroughly captivating and very moving. The movie clearly exposes the evils behind the totalitarian regimes of Adolph Hitler and the Communists in the Soviet Union, Cuba and Latin America. It also gives a wonderful exposition of President Reagan’s character, including his strong faith in God, and shows the importance that Christianity played in helping the United States to defeat the Soviet Union.

“Unlike many recent left-wing documentaries, the movie uses many hard facts to support its case. It is must-see history. . . . It is also very entertaining. Don’t let this year go by without seeing this movie. In fact, you might not want to cast a vote in the upcoming presidential election without seeing IN THE FACE OF EVIL.”

“ A powerful portrayal of a critical point in history that exposes the intensity of the struggle against communism and President Reagan’s campaign for victory. As someone who had lived these times, I was very moved by the detail and emotion in which they were brought out on film. The lessons of our struggle against the evil empire are more relevant than ever in regards to the conflict of today’s world.”

"In the Face of Evil" is an extraordinary documentary which everyone who considers himself a patriot and cares about America's future should see. It will give you a greater appreciation for leaders who stand firm for what they believe, have strong convictions about right and wrong, and refuse to compromise with evil."
